1: Insured Value. KlokWurX supplies a repair and renovation service. This implies that any item sent to us for repair or maintenance is NOT in 'A1' or Perfect Condition. Therefore, the value of any item accepted by KlokWurX for repair and refurbishment is restricted to the scrap, or 'break-up' value as detailed in Condition:5 below.

2: In-transit Liability. KlokWurX posts all items recorded and insured delivery. This 3rd-party insurance is the extent of our Transit Liability. No separate liability will accrue to, or is accepted by, KlokWurX for any item whilst it is in transit to, or from, our reception centre or place of business. All items are despatched by Carriers or Postal Services at the 'Owners' sole risk.

3: Data Protection Act. KlokWurX maintains computer records of all it's customers. This electronic data is used only for our administrative purposes, and to aid in our maintaining contact with past and present clients. It will never be sold, loaned, passed-on, or transferred, to any other business concern. It is for the use of KlokWurX and it's proprietors, directors, and successors only. By completing this Form and requesting our services you agree to our storage and use of your data electronically, and specifically (but not exclusively) in relation to the terms of the current (and any future) UK Data Protection Act(s).

4: Additional Insurance. All additional insurances, for loss and damages of any type, are the sole reponsibility of the 'Owner' (you).

5: Security & Liability Limitations. KlokWurX takes all reasonable, and Professional, steps and measures to safeguard your property whilst it is in our possession. This includes physical and electronic security measures, general insurance to the value of items as in Condition:5, etc. However, no liability other than is stated herein is accepted for any direct, indirect, or incidental losses, howsoever caused or arising, (see Condition 1 above). In all other matters the limits of liability, should it be proven that we have been negligent in our duty of care, shall be the following. These sums are the maximum we will pay for any loss (of any type) occuring whilst Items are in our possession:-

5.1: Watch (including any strap/bracelet) which is not UK Hallmarked GOLD * (see below)- £0.50p

5.2: Watch (including any strap/bracelet) which is 9ct(.375) UK Hallmarked GOLD - £5

5.3: Watch (including any strap/bracelet) which is 18ct(.750) UK Hallmarked GOLD * - £7

5.4: Additional to 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 any watch of genuine brand-mark Omega, Longines, Rolex, Breitling, Patek-Philippe, Beuche-Girod, Cartier - £9

5.5: Any item of Hand Jewellery (ring/bracelet/etc) which is not UK Hallmarked PLATINUM, GOLD or SILVER * - £0.10p

5.6: Any item of Hand Jewellery (ring/bracelet/etc) which is (.375 or greater) UK Hallmarked GOLD * - £3

5.7: Any Item of Neck Jewellery (e.g.chain including any pendant) which is not UK Hallmarked PLATINUM, GOLD or SILVER * - £0.10

5.8: Any Item of Neck Jewellery (e.g.chain including any pendant) which is (.375 or greater) UK Hallmarked GOLD - £2

5.9: Any Item of Jewellery other than above, and which is not UK Hallmarked PLATINUM, GOLD or SILVER * - £0.10p

5.10: Any Item of Jewellery other than above, and which is UK Hallmarked SILVER * - £0.50p

5.11: Any Item of Jewellery other than above, and which is UK Hallmarked GOLD * - £1

5.12: Any Item of Jewellery other than above, and which is UK Hallmarked PLATINUM - £2

5.13: Any Item of Tableware (including cutlery, plate, eperne, vase, pot etc) which is UK Hallmarked SILVER * - £2

5.14: Any Clock of any description or type, which is less than 100 years old (i.e. Non-Antique) - £1

5.15: Any Clock of any description or type, which is greater than 100 years old (i.e. Antique) - £3

5.16: Any Automaton, or clockwork-mechanism Musical Instrument which is less than 100 years old (i.e. Non-Antique) - £1

5.17: Any Automaton, or clockwork-mechanism Musical Instrument which is greater than 100 years old (i.e. Antique) - £3

5.18: Any other Item not listed above - £0.01p

6: Amendments. The values listed in Paragraph 5 above are correct as at 1^st January 2004 and shall continue in force until amended. KlokWurX and it's Director(s) reserve the Exclusive Right to amend the values shown at their Sole Discretion.

7: Arbitration. Discussion and/or Arbitration relating to variances of the above Condition:5 valuation limits will not be allowed. If you have a particularly valuable Item and you wish us to arrange insurance for it you should apply under Condition:8 below.

8: Risk Transfer. Any requests for the transfer of additional Risk to KlokWurX (i.e. applications for us to arrange for higher insured values at your cost) in the form of additions to the above Condition:5 sums, must be recieved in writing, and responded Positively (i.e. 'Yes') to by KlokWurX prior to your posting the item to us. No retrospective claims will be entertained, discussed, or allowed.
